SMS Notification Consent

Driver dispatch notifications

About LuxDispatch

LuxDispatch is dispatch-management software used by licensed chauffeured ground transport operators to manage bookings, assign drivers, and coordinate rides. Operators use LuxDispatch to send SMS notifications to their contracted drivers when rides are available for assignment.

Message types

LuxDispatch sends two categories of SMS messages to drivers who have consented to receive them:

Account Notifications : ride assignment alerts containing pickup/dropoff locations, date, time, vehicle type, and a one-tap link to accept or decline the assignment. These are transactional messages directly related to the driver’s work with the operator.

Customer Care : opt-out confirmations, help responses, and service status messages. These are sent only in response to driver actions (replying STOP, HELP, or contacting support).

Who receives messages

Only contracted drivers who have been onboarded into an operator’s LuxDispatch account and who have provided their phone number and explicit verbal or written consent to receive dispatch notifications. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent. No messages are sent to clients, passengers, or the general public via SMS.

How consent is obtained

During the driver onboarding process, the operator verbally confirms the driver’s consent to receive dispatch SMS notifications using a script such as:

“We use LuxDispatch to send ride assignments by text message to your phone. When a ride becomes available that matches your area, you’ll receive an SMS with the ride details and a link to accept or decline. You can stop receiving these messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Do you consent to receiving these dispatch notifications?”

The operator records the driver’s consent in the LuxDispatch platform by enabling SMS notifications on the driver’s profile. No messages are sent until this step is completed.

Frequency

Message frequency varies based on ride availability and the operator’s dispatch volume. Typical drivers receive 1–10 messages per week. Messages are sent only when a ride is available for assignment. There are no scheduled or recurring messages.

How to opt out

Drivers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any dispatch message. Opt-out is immediate and confirmed via an automated response. To resume notifications, reply START. For help, reply HELP.

Carrier notice

Message and data rates may apply. LuxDispatch does not charge recipients for messages; standard carrier rates apply. LuxDispatch is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by carrier network issues.
